The Labs Product team is based in our San Francisco studio in SoMa, two blocks from the Embarcadero. We sit at the intersection between Sutherland Labs, Sutherland Digital and Sutherland itself, helping to give birth to ideas, prototypes and live product deployments. Our goal is to bridge the digital and physical world by simplifying and automating many of the painful customer service processes. The Team’s main focus is on delivering chatbots centered around customer experience/support for Fortune 500-1000 brands. Our platform is based on + + Google Cloud/AWS platform. We typically run Client workshops for discovery and manage end-to-end delivery. You’ll be working alongside a diverse team psychologists, anthropologists, ethnographers, filmmakers, engineers, product managers, strategists, and many more, to design best in class experiences for large well known brands across the Fortune 500/1000 and unicorn startup world. Responsibilities : Grow and groom a small budding development team across multiple time zones (in-house & offshore) in partnership with and Client-based teams Identify emerging trends and develop tools and environments to foster a culture for Engineers to excel and thrive, optimizing efficiency and productivity while aligning with business objectives Evangelize and represent the strategic and tactical position of the Engineering organization across internal partners and external vendors and Clients
