Mobile Application Developer


The Position: Help Pega drive our vision for the future by building demos and prototyping mobile applications integrating Pega’s mobility platform with the latest technologies. By representing Pega’s differentiators in the mobile space, you’ll help define, create, and manage the technology and features that enable our customers to build a seamless multi-channel experience for their users, allowing mash-ups across applications and technologies. In this role, you will: Prototype product capabilities that allow customers to launch Pega applications on their chosen platform (mobile, social, cloud, etc), including support for application & technology mash-ups Work directly with Product Managers, Product Designers and Engineers to assist in the design and development of rich product backlog for differentiating mobile capabilities Translate technology trends, customer requests, and technical product requirements into clearly defined designs and specifications Build demo native mobile apps showcasing Pega capabilities. You have the right combination of technology experience as well as capability to learn new technologies quickly. Qualifications will include: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience At least 2 years’ of experience developing mobile apps, including native iOS mobile apps Experience in Objective-C or Swift Experience in web technologies, with an emphasis on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Solid understanding of basic software design principles, best practices, and dependencies Strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated interest in participating in the design process for all user-facing components Strong desire to learn and develop additional skills and expertise over time (iOT, chatbots)
